While natural disasters adversely affect all Floridians, they have a disproportionately heavy impact on low-income, migrant, and immigrant residents who were already struggling to make ends meet and provide safe housing for their families.

The FLS Immigrant and Migrant Farmworker Justice Project has been working for over 20 years in migrant communities throughout the state to stand up with them against injustice, helping community leaders to know and find their voice to exercise their legal rights for safe housing, medical care, and fair labor practices. Our clients are often overlooked or ignored by systems that are intended to serve them. It is an especially dangerous time for undocumented Floridians, who are often the last to seek outside assistance. Your tax deductible donation will help FLS increase its visibility in these migrant and immigrant communities as we recover from Hurricane Irma.
